We have made great progress on the senior center over the past few months. Thank you to everyone who has contributed time or money so far.
Going forward, we are concentrating our efforts on raising funds for the remodeling of the West wing into a banquet/meeting space. Our goal is approximately $60,000 and we currently stand about 25% of the way. All donations are tax deductible and payment details are listed at the bottom of the original post.

Pardeeville will soon have a senior center for our community to use. The location is 113 Industrial Drive (previously the Remington House). It will be a relaxing, light-filled place where seniors can enjoy meals, play cards, socialize, read books and magazines among many other activities. The site is located on about 3 acres so there is plenty of room for future outdoor activities and events as well.
Currently we are in the process of remodeling the building. The west wing has been gutted by volunteers to make a large banquet/gathering area. Deconstruction, fireplace upgrade, painting and cleaning of kitchen grime are projects that have been completed with volunteer help.
The remaining projects include new flooring, kitchen countertop, new entry door, installation and painting of new dry wall, electrical work and some plumbing. Tables, chairs, furniture along with new kitchen plates and utensils are just a few of the additional expenses yet to come.
Any donations made will allow for remodeling project completion and earlier use of this great facility. We have already received $3,750 in donations and pledges. All donations are tax deductible.
